Owning a Holiday Home on Croft Bank Holiday Park in
2010.
Croft Bank
Holiday Park is a private park for caravan owners and
their families only.
2010 season
opens on the first Friday in March and closes on the
second Sunday in November.
The Ground Rent
varies from £1,227.88 for 30x10 to £1,339.50 for 38 x 12
both prices inc. VAT for a standard pitch.
The general and
water rates in 2009 were £159.00 on a standard pitch
these will be slightly higher in 2010.
These are
payable in April each year.
Both the gas and
electric tests are included for the first year when you
purchase your home. Thereafter gas tests must be done
yearly approx cost £47.00. Electric tests are done 3
yearly.
The electric is
metered so you pay for what you use.
The meters are
read in September/October.
Gas is bottled
and is delivered (subject to staff being available).
Gas must be paid
for when ordered.
A security
Barrier is situated on the entrance along with CCTV.
The cards for the barrier cost £30.00 each, which is a one
off payment,
Insurance for
your holiday home is available on a new for old basis at
£10.00 per £1,000.00 based on the new replacement value
of the caravan and contents.
